      The Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Mark Dreyfus KC MP has announced the appointment of Judge Elizabeth Boyle, Mr Mark Anderson and Dr Juliet Behrens to Division 1 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA).

      The Court is committed to the protection of vulnerable parties and children in family law proceedings. The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (the Court) are leading the way in helping families that have experienced family violence and other safety risks to navigate the family law system.
    • Notice of Address for Service

      This form is used to inform the Court and the other parties in your case of the address at which court documents and notices can be served on you. You must file this form if your contact address (address for service) has changed.
    • Media release: Opening of new Launceston court facilities to better service the local community and the legal profession

      On Monday 3 April 2023, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1 and Division 2) will host an event to officially open new court facilities in Launceston. Guest speakers include the Honourable Mark Dreyfus KC MP, Attorney-General for the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Chief Justice Will Alstergren AO, and Ms Amanda Thompson, President of The Law Society of Tasmania. Members of the local legal sector will also be present.
    • Appendix 5 - External involvement

      The Federal Circuit Court has a number of strategies for strengthening its partnerships with clients and other stakeholders, such as legal practitioners, non-government organisations, and government agencies and departments. External stakeholders include:
    • Third party debt notice (form)

      This form is used by a person seeking to enforce an obligation to pay money by directing a third party (e.g. the employer of the Respondent (payer) named in this Notice) to pay a lump sum or a redirection of earnings or periodic payments.
    • Party category information

      This form must be completed on the first occasion you file a document in your proceeding on which a fee is payable or at any time later if the Court requests it so the Court can assess the correct fee rate which applies to you.
    • Notice of contention – General Federal Law

      This form is used by the respondent/s named in: An appeal from the Administrative Review Tribunal transferred to the Court from the Federal Court (see Part 27 of the Rules); or An appeal from a decision of the Commissioner (see Part 30 of the Rules).
