  • How do I apply for consent orders?

    What are consent orders If both parties have reached agreement about parenting, financial or property matters, you can ask the Court to make orders by consent to make your agreement legally binding. Consent orders can also be used to vary or discharge existing family law orders.  You should read the information about parenting and financial and property orders before you proceed.

  • Update to the profession: Consent orders forms updated

    The Chief Justice has approved changes to the following Court forms: Application for Consent Orders, and Annexure to Proposed Consent Parenting Order (Current Case). These forms have been amended in consultation with the Courts’ Family Violence Committee as part of the Courts’ commitment to improving and refining its processes.

  • Application for sealed copy of orders

    If you require a sealed copy of orders from a file that are not available from the Commonwealth Courts Portal and you were a party to the proceedings you should complete the Application for sealed copy of orders. It is important to include the full names of the parties. Most orders made after July 2017 are available to download from the Commonwealth Courts Portal at no cost.
