    • Deputy Chief Judge

      The Deputy Chief Judge assists the Chief Judge in the judicial administration of the Federal Circuit and Family Court. Particular responsibilities include case management, complaints about judges, the collection and strategic assessment of statistics, pastoral care and oversight of the Court’s committees. In the absence of the Chief Judge, the Deputy Chief Judge performs and exercises the powers of the Chief Judge (s 24).
    • Media release: The FCC welcomes the appointment of Ms Allyson Ladhams to the Perth registry

      The Federal Circuit Court of Australia welcomes the Government’s appointment of Ms Allyson Ladhams, who will be based in the Perth registry, commencing 23 August 2021.
    • Update to the profession: Subpoena form updated

      The FCFCOA Subpoena form (used for all jurisdictions) has been updated and the new version, number 0921V3, is now available. The changes include incorporating a question confirming if leave to issue the subpoena is required (in family law proceedings) and amending some of the Notes. A grace period for accepting the previous version, number 0921V2, applies until 31 October 2022.

      Several Court forms have had updates made to them and reissued

      Court based support The Courts have Indigenous Family Liaison Officers (IFLO) that can help you when you come to court. If you would like the support of an IFLO please use the contact number below for your area, 8.30am to 5.00pm (AEST), Monday – Friday: Region Contact number

      When you are part of a current proceeding seeking financial or property orders in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, you or your legal representative can apply directly to the Court to request your spouse, former spouse or de facto's superannuation information held by the Commissioner of Taxation.
