      This Practice Direction was revoked 28 November 2022.
    • Originating Application – General Federal Law

      This form is used for commencing a general federal law proceeding where no other form of application is applicable under the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (General Federal Law) Rules 2025. Do not use this form if your application relates to family law, child support, Fair Work, human rights or matters arising under the Bankruptcy Act 1966, Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977 or Migration Act 1958.
    • Form 8 – Application to register arbitration award

      This form is for the applicant to seek registration of the award described
    • Form 9 – Application to register decree affecting registered arbitration award

      This form is for the applicant to seek registration of the decree and the award affected by the decree
    • Form 7 – Application relating to relevant Property or Financial Arbitration

      This form is for the parties to seek an order in relation to the relevant property or financial arbitration of a dispute
    • Family Law Practice Direction: Priority Property Pool Cases

      This Practice Direction applies to family law applications meeting the criteria set out in this Practice Direction and filed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (the Court)
    • Proposed Standard Orders - Migration - Extension of time orders

      This document contains the proposed standard orders that parties may use to seek timetabling orders from the Court for an extension of time application in a migration matter.
    • Application for consent orders (do it yourself kit)

      This form is used when you have reached an agreement and want the Court to make legally binding court orders.
    • Originating Application – Human Rights

      This form was previously called Application – Human Rights. This form is used for commencing an application in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia alleging unlawful discrimination under the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986: see rule 28.03(1) of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2)(General Federal Law) Rules 2025 (the Rules).
