  • Changes affecting First Court Dates in Migration Matters

    There are a number of procedural changes regarding the conduct of Migration proceedings in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) that will apply from 29 November 2021. Migration applications filed in the FCFCOA in all registries from that date will no longer be allocated a First Court Date (FCD) listing.

    If you require a sealed copy of orders from a file that are not available from the Commonwealth Courts Portal and you were a party to the proceedings you should complete the Application for sealed copy of orders. It is important to include the full names of the parties. Most orders made after July 2017 are available to download from the Commonwealth Courts Portal at no cost.
