      This information sheet explains how to apply for a substituted service order and provides a brief guide on the affidavit evidence that should accompany such an application.

      Before starting an application, see the Central Practice Direction – General Federal Law proceedings, which sets out the procedural requirements and steps in general federal law proceedings.

      Application for interim bankruptcy orders
    • How do I get a copy of my divorce order (proof of divorce)?

      If your divorce was AFTER February 2010 you can print your divorce order from the Commonwealth Courts Portal, once your divorce is finalised (usually one month and one day after your divorce hearing). There is no fee to print a divorce order from the Portal. Divorce orders after this date are digital orders with an electronic seal and signature and are the only form of proof of divorce provided by the Court.
    • Serving a divorce (sole applications only)

      Information on how to serve a divorce on your spouse.
    • Application for review - general federal law & migration

      This form is used to apply to the Court for a review of the exercise of a power by a Registrar in proceedings other than appeal proceedings. Use a Form B3A – Application for Review in bankruptcy proceedings.
    • Initiating Application Kit (do it yourself kit)

      This form is used to start a family law application seeking final orders. Interlocutory orders can only be sought in this form if you are seeking final orders as well.
