      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (the Courts) are delighted to provide this last update with the commencement of the expansion of the Lighthouse model and the Evatt List from this Monday 28 November 2022.
    • Direct Debit Service Agreement

      For law firms to arrange for funds to be debited from an account by the Federal Court of Australia
    • Media release: Six new Judges appointed to the FCFCOA (Division 2)

      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) is pleased to welcome 6 new judicial appointments announced by the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Michelle Rowland MP.
    • Update to the profession 2: Lighthouse Model Expansion - Risk Screening

      This update focuses on Lighthouse risk screening, including Family DOORS Triage, what happens when an eligible proceeding is filed and what happens next.
    • Lighthouse Expansion - Update to the Profession February 2023

      The purpose of this update is to focus on the key benefits of screening, provide frequently asked questions and answers the Courts have received, and advise where to go for further information, resources and training.
    • Outline of Case Document (Final Hearing)

      This document must be filed in accordance with any trial directions made by the Court. Unless otherwise ordered, it must be no more than 10 pages in length (or 15 pages if both property and parenting are in dispute).
    • Itemised costs account

      This itemised costs account form may be used when costs have been ordered to be paid as assessed. The party who is entitled to the costs being paid must serve an itemised costs account on the liable party to pay the costs. If there is no dispute, the party liable then pays the amount as ordered.
    • Evatt list

      The Evatt List is a specialist list developed by the Courts where a highly qualified team of Senior Judicial Registrars, Judicial Registrars, Court Child Experts and court staff in consultation with Judges, are allocated to manage eligible cases that are considered to be high risk, through more intensive case management and resources. 
    • Lighthouse Project - Update to the Profession June 2021

      With the Pilot now well underway, the Court calls upon the profession to familiarise themselves with this important project and to communicate the process and benefits with their clients.
