Notice of Ceasing to Act

This for is used by lawyers to advise the Court that they no longer act for their client in a family law proceeding. 

The lawyer must advise the Court of their client’s last known residential address and enclose a Notice of Address for Service.

Filing with the Court

Seven days after service on their client, the lawyer must file this notice with the Court.

This form should be eFiled on the Commonwealth Courts Portal. For more information see How do I eFile?. If for some reason you cannot eFile, you can file at a Court registry
