    • Media release: Brisbane family lawyer, Ms Tuskeen Jacobs, appointed to the FCFCOA

      The Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Mark Dreyfus KC MP announced today the appointment of Ms Tuskeen Jacobs as a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) (Division 2). Ms Jacobs has been appointed to the Brisbane Registry and will commence on 8 July 2024.
    • Update to the profession: Issue of the Special Measures Information Notice – Hearing Protocol

      The Chief Justice has issued the Special Measures Information Notice – Hearing Protocol to replace the Special Measures Information Notice – COVID-19 Hearing Protocol, with effect from Monday, 7 November 2022.

      The FCFCOA hosted a successful public launch of the Lighthouse initiative in Sydney on Monday 5 December 2022. A media package can be viewed from the Courts' YouTube channel.
