    • Webex electronic hearing pilot

      Expansion to NSW and the ACT From Monday 11 November 2024, the New South Wales (NSW) registries (including Albury and Lismore) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) will join an expanded Webex pilot. This follows a successful initial pilot with judges and registrars conducted nationally earlier this year. During the pilot, the following electronic court events (in NSW and the ACT) will be conducted using the Webex platform:

      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (the Courts) engages in the following social media channels: X (formerly Twitter) YouTube LinkedIn. What you can expect from the Court If you follow the Courts on these platforms, you can expect short updates with the latest news, information and services. This may include notifications of:
    • Increase to family law fees - 1 July 2025

      The fees payable in the Federal Circuit and Family Court are changing from 1 July
    • Media release: Seven new judicial appointments to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia

      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) and (Division 2) (the Courts) are pleased to welcome seven judicial appointments announced today by the Attorney-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Mark Dreyfus KC MP.
    • Media release: Three judges appointed to the Adelaide registry of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia

      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia welcomes the appointment of three judges to the Court’s Adelaide registry. These judicial appointments substantially increase the Court’s judicial resources and will greatly assist the Court to effectively manage its demanding caseload and provide access to justice in South Australia and nationally. The Commonwealth Attorney-General, Senator the Hon Michaela Cash today announced the following appointments to the Court’s Adelaide registry:
    • Subpoena: Information for a person requesting the issue of a subpoena

      This brochure is for people who want the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia to issue a subpoena in a family law matter. It provides information about the use of, and compliance with, subpoenas in the Court.
