      The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (FCFCOA) is pleased to welcome five new judicial appointments to Division 2 of the Courts.
    • Migration: Directions, callovers and court hearings

      There are a number of different court events that can occur in Migration matters: Directions Callovers Summary judgment hearing Extension of time hearing Final hearing Each migration application is different. You may not have all of the court events listed occur in your matter. Whenever you are required to attend court for a hearing, the Court will write to you at your address for service and give you, and the Minister’s lawyers, the details of when and where you must attend.

    • Previous Federal Circuit Court Annual Reports

      These reports contain corporate information about the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Included in these reports are an introduction and overview of the Court, reviews of the Court's activities, and a report on Court performance. They are for reference only and are only provided in PDF, if this is not accessible to you, please contact the webmaster.
    • Application for exemption from paying Court fees - general (general federal law)

      This form is used in general federal law or migration proceedings to make an application to be exempted from paying a court fee. Use this form if: you are receiving legal aid for your proceeding from a State/Territory Legal Aid Office or an approved legal aid scheme or service (including an approved community legal centres); or, you are the primary cardholder of a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Seniors Health Card or any other card that entitles you to Commonwealth health concessions (this does not extend to a dependant of the primary cardholder); or, you are…

      This form is used by the respondent/s named in: An appeal from the Administrative Review Tribunal transferred to the Court from the Federal Court (see Part 27 of the Rules); or An appeal from a decision of the Commissioner (see Part 30 of the Rules).

      The legal aid commissions are independent statutory bodies that provide legal assistance services to the public, with a particular focus on the needs of people who are economically and/or socially disadvantaged.
