      The opportunity to work as a Judge’s Associate What these roles provide Associate roles provide an invaluable opportunity to:
    • National rollout of Webex for electronic hearings

      Following the successful expansion of the Webex pilot to NSW and ACT, the Court will progress with a national rollout of Webex for electronic hearings.
    • Itemised costs account

      This itemised costs account form may be used when costs have been ordered to be paid as assessed. The party who is entitled to the costs being paid must serve an itemised costs account on the liable party to pay the costs. If there is no dispute, the party liable then pays the amount as ordered.
    • Children: Overview

      This page provides an overview about arrangements for children after separation and the Court’s jurisdiction to make parenting orders.
    • Direct Debit Service Agreement

      For law firms to arrange for funds to be debited from an account by the Federal Court of Australia
    • Outline of Case Document (Final Hearing)

      This document must be filed in accordance with any trial directions made by the Court. Unless otherwise ordered, it must be no more than 10 pages in length (or 15 pages if both property and parenting are in dispute).
    • Priority Property Pool Cases – Short-form expedited hearings

      This brochure provides information about the option for a short-form expedited hearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia for Priority Property Pool Cases (PPP Cases)
    • First court event – helpful information

      This fact sheet is for people who are representing themselves in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (the Court). People who are not represented by a lawyer are commonly referred to as ‘unrepresented litigants’ or ‘litigants in person’. This information is about the first court event, otherwise known as the ‘duty list’.
