    • How do I eFile further documents to support my application for divorce?

      You may be required or need to file further documents to support your application for divorce. The following documents can be eFiled on the Commonwealth Courts Portal.
    • Response to an Application in a Proceeding

      This form is used to respond to an Application in a Proceeding if you oppose the orders sought or you are asking the Court to make other orders.   
    • Application for consent orders – proposed orders template

      This template contains the proforma consent orders that are to be typed and filed with your Application for Consent Orders
    • Application for review - family law and child support proceedings

      This form is used to apply to the Court for a review of the exercise of a power by a Registrar in proceedings other than appeal proceedings. Use an Application in an Appeal to make application for review of an exercise of power by a Registrar in appeal proceedings.
    • How do I register for the Commonwealth Courts Portal?

      To electronically file or access court files on the Commonwealth Courts Portal a user must first register. Go to www.comcourts.gov.au to create your individual username and password:
    • Interpreter policy and guidelines

      If you have difficulty with English and need an interpreter to understand what is being said at a court hearing, you will need to arrange for any interpreter that you or your witnesses may require. A certified interpreter is required to provider interpreter services for hearings where cross examination will occur, except in exceptional circumstances where no certified interpreter is available for the language required.

    • Bankruptcy Information Sheet 3: Opposing a Creditor's Petition

      This information sheet sets out general information on the options available to a debtor who is served with a Creditor's Petition to make them a bankrupt. This includes general information on how to oppose a petition where valid legal grounds exist and asking for more time to pay the debt or get legal or financial advice.
