The report marks a year in which the Courts’ made significant strides towards improving safety, accessibility and inclusivity for court users in Australia.

      Some of Australia’s most influential leaders are stepping up to tackle one of the nation’s most urgent challenges — domestic and family violence. More than 100 leaders from sport, business, education, government and media will unite at a landmark Family Violence Prevention Forum to drive cultural change and champion evidence-based strategies that prevent violence before it starts.
    • Media release: Chief Justice joins with AFL premiers the Brisbane Lions and Beyond DV to prevent family violence

      On 4 May 2025 the Brisbane Lions hosted their annual 'Domestic and Family Violence prevention Round' at the Gabba, where they took on the Gold Coast Suns. The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia's Chief Justice Will Alstergren AO attended the game to amplify his call for early prevention measures to stop family violence.

    • Reconciliation Action Plan 2019 – 2021: Federal Circuit Court of Australia

      This Reconciliation Action Plan 2019–2021 reflects the FCC’s continuing commitment to supporting access to justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The FCC was the first court in Australia to enter into a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), and I am immensely proud to be the Chief Judge of this court. The Court’s path to reconciliation continues through the renewal of the RAP and through the dedication of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access to Justice/RAP Committee.
