      With the Pilot now well underway, the Court calls upon the profession to familiarise themselves with this important project and to communicate the process and benefits with their clients.
    • Do you have fears for your safety when attending court?

      The Federal Circuit and Family Court places a priority on safety and can assist with the safety of you and your family when attending court. If you have any concerns for your safety, it is important you let the Court know at least five days before your court event.
    • Family Law Practice Direction: Medical procedure proceedings

      This Practice Direction applies to all family law applications filed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia relating to a child undertaking a major medical procedure.

      This Practice Direction applies to family law proceedings filed in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2) (Court) and revokes and replaces Special Measures Information Notice – COVID-19 Electronic Subpoena Inspection (SMIN-COVID).
