      The Commonwealth Courts Portal provides users with secure web-based access to information about cases that are before the Court. The Portal is a central system that enables registered litigants and legal practitioners to log on using a single user ID and password and access information from multiple jurisdictions. This page provides information about general features to help you navigate through the Commonwealth Courts Portal.
    • Recovery orders

      This fact sheet explains what a recovery order is and who can apply for a recovery order. It also includes information about what you can do when a child has been taken from Australia without consent, or has not been returned to Australia.
    • Lighthouse for practitioners

      Lighthouse is an innovative approach taken by the Courts to screen parties for and manage risk, with a primary focus on improving outcomes for families involved in the family law system.
