Confused (feeling unsure)
- What it might feel like: Like your brain is foggy or full of tangled strings. You might feel uncertain about what's happening, or you might feel a bit lost.
- When you might feel it: When adults use complicated words, when plans keep changing suddenly, when you hear different stories from different people or when you don’t understand what is happening.
- What you can do: It's okay to ask questions! Ask a trusted adult to explain things in a simpler way. You can also draw or write down what's confusing you or try to break the big confusing thing into smaller, easier-to-understand pieces.
