Brave (feeling strong)
- What it might feel like: The feeling of inner strength that helps you face something difficult, even when you might also feel a little bit scared or nervous. Your chest might feel tall, your voice might feel steady, and you feel ready to take a step forward (even if you have some butterflies in your tummy!).
- When you might feel it: You might feel brave when you decide to ask an adult a tough question about your family's changes, when you try a new living arrangement, when you meet a new person at the Court, or when you speak up about how you're truly feeling even if it's hard. Every time you face something new or tricky and try your best, that's bravery!
- What you can do: Notice that strong feeling inside you. Take a deep breath. And remember times you've been brave before. Be proud of your courage.
