Family Court is a place where families go when they need help making decisions about kids.
Sometimes the parents in a family don’t agree on what is best so the Court helps them to work it out. If the parents still can’t agree, then the Court will make the decision based on what it thinks is best for the kids. While this is happening, it can feel a bit confusing or even scary. It is normal to have different feelings during this time, lots of kids do.
It can help if you have someone you trust to talk to about how you are feeling. This could be a parent, teacher, or another adult. You can also contact Kids Helpline, or if you are in high school you can contact Headspace.
