Who makes the decision?

Sometimes, the Family Court can help parents agree on what’s best. But if they can’t, a special adult at the Court called a registrar or judge will make the decision. They learn a lot about the family so they can decide what is best. They want to make sure kids feel safe, cared for and loved.
