What is a family expert?

A family expert is an adult whose job is to meet with you and other important people in your family. Then, they write a report to help the Family Court understand what kids are thinking, feeling, and going through. If you need to meet with a family expert, it might happen in a court building, or it might happen in an office somewhere else.

They might have different names, like Court Child Expert or Family Report Writer, but here in Kid’s Corner we will just call them family experts.
